Terms of Service

A clear starting point for account responsibilities, evidence handling and the limits of assisted ESG reporting.

Draft for review · not yet effective

Operator details and policy commitments are awaiting confirmation. This draft is provided for review and is not a final privacy notice or service agreement.

The service

ESG Hero helps teams collect ESG information, review evidence, manage supplier responses and prepare reporting outputs. Features depend on the workflows enabled for your workspace.

These proposed terms are a draft for review. They do not establish a final service agreement, pricing commitment or service-level guarantee.

Accounts and company authority

Proposed responsibility: provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in credentials and use only workspaces you are authorised to access. You should have your company’s authority before creating its workspace, inviting members or approving a share.

Company administrators should keep memberships and permissions current, including when someone leaves the team.

Your records and evidence

Proposed responsibility: upload only material you are authorised to use and share. Preserve the source, reporting period, units and context of figures. Avoid unnecessary personal information in evidence.

The final agreement must confirm ownership of customer content and outputs, the operator’s limited processing permissions, confidentiality obligations and export arrangements.

Review and reporting responsibility

Extracted values, AI responses, calculations and generated text need review. Check source evidence, applicable factors, reporting boundaries and framework requirements before approving or publishing a report.

ESG Hero supports reporting work. It does not itself provide independent assurance or replace qualified legal, accounting or sustainability advice. Your organisation remains responsible for its disclosures and decisions.

Acceptable use

Proposed rules prohibit unauthorised access, attempts to bypass permissions, malicious uploads and use of the service to misrepresent evidence or disclose information without authority.

Report suspected misuse through the Contact Us page when a contact is available. Do not include passwords, session links or private documents in an initial report.

Supplier and passport sharing

Check who will receive information and what is selected before confirming a supplier response or passport share. Share only information your company has approved for that recipient.

The final agreement must explain the responsibilities of buyers and suppliers and what happens to previously shared records when access is revoked.

Plans, availability and ending service

Fees, billing, renewals, refunds, support commitments and availability must be set out in confirmed commercial terms. No prices or uptime commitments are established by this draft.

The final agreement must describe suspension, termination, notice, data export and retention after service ends. Existing retention schedules and legal holds may affect deletion.

Before these terms take effect

The operator’s legal identity, effective date, governing law, dispute process, warranties, liability provisions and change-notification process still require confirmation and legal review.

Until final terms are approved, links to this draft are provided for review and information. Account creation does not record acceptance of this draft as a final agreement.
